Supplies to Make a Santa Beard Countdown
- Free Printable Santa Beard Countdown (Get this Santa printable sent straight to your inbox! See the bottom of the post for the form to get the templates emailed to you.)
- Cotton Balls – we used this size (1.5″ x 1.5″)
- Red Ribbon (for hanging)
- Hole Puncher
- Tape
How to Make a Santa Beard Countdown
1. Print off our free printable.
You can get the printable on the bottom of the post, on the form with the preview of the template.
2. Laminate.
This step is optional but if you laminate the Santa it will stay in better shape to re-use every year.
Use a laminator or use self-laminating sheets.
3. Cut it out.
This step is optional. You can add to the wall as is or cut it out.
4. Hole punch the top.
If you plan to hang the Santa up on the wall, make a hole punch at the top.
5. Add a red ribbon to the top for hanging.
6. Starting December 1st, add a cotton ball to each calendar day.
Use tape to stick the cotton ball on.
Continue adding a cotton ball each day until Santa’s beard is filled.
This is the cutest way to countdown to Christmas with kids! And the best part is that kids will love to add the cotton balls to Santa’s beard each day.
