How to Make a Paper Snowflake Wreath
1. Print off the free printable snowflakes.
You can get the free printable templates at the bottom of the post (on the form with a preview of the template).

2. Color the templates.
You will need to color nine of the snowflakes to fill the paper plate as shown. You can also choose to do more or less!
There’s also blank templates included if you want to draw your own snowflakes.
For younger kids, I recommend having them paint the templates with watercolors. You can also print the templates on colored paper and you can add some glitter or sequins to them.
Once you are done coloring, cut out each circle along the dotted lines. To not have the dotted lines show, cut a little inside the line so you are not left with any of the dotted line showing once the snowflake is cut out.

3. Cut out the center of a paper plate.
Cut the center of the paper plate out. I like to bend the paper plate slightly to make a cut mark and then you can get your scissors inside to cut out this portion.

4. Paint the paper plate.
This is optional, but some of the paper plate might show through depending on where you glue the snowflakes on. We painted it blue to match the snowflakes we made.

5. Glue the snowflakes to the paper plate.
Glue nine snowflakes to the paper plate. You can space them out more and glue less down if you do not want to color nine.

6. Add a loop of ribbon to the back for hanging.
Tape the ribbon to the back for hanging.

These paper snowflake wreaths are a fun way to decorate a space for winter or the holiday season!
Kids can also design their own snowflakes using our blank template, too!
