Mother’s Day Paper Plate Wreath

Brighten up Mom or Grandma’s room for Mother’s Day with this easy to make Mother’s Day paper plate wreath! Just print off our free templates, color, cut and glue! You can even print on colored paper.

Print off our free printable MOM cards to go with your wreath. It’ll make the cutest Mother’s Day gift!

You can add words describing Mom inside the flowers, or add little sentences like “My Mom loves to bake”, or “My Mom’s favorite food is pizza.”

You can also just leave the inside of the flowers blank and make her the wreath as a gift on its own.

Supplies Needed

• Colored cardstock or paper

• Paper plate

• Green paint

• Glue

• Black marker

How to Make the Wreath

1. Print off the flower and leaf templates.

Print on white cardstock if you want to color the templates yourself. You can also print on colored paper and add white or yellow circles on top of the colored paper.

You can get the free printable templates at the bottom of the post.

2. Color the templates.

You will need to color seven of the wreath flower templates and three leaves to fill the paper plate as shown. You can also choose to do more or less!

Once you are done coloring, cut out each template.

3. Cut out the center of a paper plate.

Cut the center of the paper plate out. I like to bend the paper plate slightly to make a cut mark and then you can get your scissors inside to cut out this portion.

4. Paint the paper plate. 

This is optional, but some of the paper plate might show through depending on where you glue the templates on.

5. Glue the templates to the paper plate.

Glue the templates to the paper plate. You can space them out more and glue less down if you do not want to color all eight flowers. We glued on seven flowers and three leaves.

6. Add a loop of twine to the back for hanging.

Tape the twine to the back for hanging.

7. Add words to the flowers.

Add descriptive words about Mom to the center of the flowers.
