Ingredients for Cupid Arrow Candy

How to Make Cupid Arrow Candy Treats

1. Make the candy feathers.

First, cut the sour belts into 1 inch pieces. Have an adult do this part.

Then cut out a small triangle on one end and cut out the opposite triangle shape on the other end (see below image for visual).

To make the feathers, cut slits in between.

Cut Rainbow Candy into Arrow Pieces

2. Melt pink candy melts.

Next, you need to melt your pink candy melts in the microwave. Follow the package instructions.

PRO TIP: We find that if you microwave for less time and stir to melt you won’t overcook your candy melts. Start off with only 20 seconds and add 5-10 second increments as needed.

Make Pink Chocolate

3.  Dip the pretzel sticks.

Once you have your melted candy melts, you can now dip in your pretzel sticks!

If not too hot, this would be fun for the kids to do! Just make sure to check the temperature first yourself so they don’t burn their hands. Dip each pretzel stick and then place on parchment paper.

If the chocolate is too hot, remove the pretzel with a fork.

Dip Pretzels into Chocolate

4.  Add the gummy hearts and feathers.

Add one of the gummy hearts and rainbow belt candy feathers to each dipped pretzel stick. They should stick to the chocolate before the chocolate has hardened. Allow to dry for 10 minutes before picking up.

Add Candy to Pretzel

5. Add sprinkles.

This is optional, but you can also add some extra sprinkles on top of the pink chocolate.

Add Sprinkles to Pretzels

These are super easy to make! Kids will love helping to make these Valentine’s Day candy treats with you.
