This Build Your Own Leprechaun House activity is made with our free printable template, cardstock, and some basic coloring supplies.
You can also print the templates on colored paper (choose different colors of green!) and just cut and glue together.
Kids can also design their own and you can start with the house outlines only.
Hang up all of the finished leprechaun houses on a bulletin board for St Patrick’s Day.
Supplies Needed
- Cardstock or Paper – print on a thicker paper, like cardstock to make the houses more durable
- Coloring materials – you can use markers, colored pencils, crayons, or even watercolors. For younger kids I recommend using crayons or you can print on colored paper and they can glue the pieces together.

How to Make a Leprechaun House
1. Print off the free printable templates.
You can get the free printable templates sent to you at the bottom of the post (on the form with a preview of the template).
2. Cut out the templates.
Choose which house, door, windows and details you want to use for your house and cut them out.
3. Color and Glue
Color all of the details you want to add to the house and then glue together.
Your leprechaun house is now complete. Make all 3 houses and mix and match different doors, windows, and details to bring them to life!
