Birthday Cake Playdough
An easy playdough recipe that smells like birthday cake!

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil *do not use olive oil
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- sprinkles
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients (flour, salt, and cream of tartar). Mix well.
- Add the vegetable oil and water to a large pot. Mix together.
- Add 2 tsp of vanilla extract.
- Add the dry ingredients to the pot and mix well.
- Cook over low to medium heat, until a dough starts to form and does not look wet anymore. Once the dough starts forming a ball and looks fully cooked, remove it from heat. Let the dough cool.
- Once cool enough to touch, knead the dough for 5 minutes. This will make the dough soft. If the dough is still sticky when you are trying to knead it, add it back to the pot and cook for another minute or so until it looks more dry.
- Add sprinkles to the dough, one tablespoon at a time, until you're happy with how it looks. Knead the dough until the sprinkles are fully incorporated.Note: the sprinkles may dye little hands so add only a few or skip the sprinkles if you are worried about getting dye on hands.

If your dough doesn't feel soft, continue kneading for another 5 minutes.
