How to Make Heart Bath Bombs

  • Heart mold
  • 1/4 cup citric acid
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • Pink food dye optional if you want to have a colored bath bomb
  • 3 drops therapeutic grade lavender optional

  • In a large bowl, combine your citric acid, baking soda, and cornstarch then mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, add a couple of drops of pink food coloring and 3 drops essential oil to your coconut oil and mix
  • Then slowly add your wet mix to the dry mixture and mix well until you've added it all
  • Once all of your wet mixture is added, your mixture should feel like damp moldable sand
  • Start filling your heart mold with your mixture, making sure to press the mixture firmly into the molds
  • Let dry overnight and carefully pop them out. Place one in the bottom of your shower or in your warm bath tub to release your bath bomb
