Servings: 1
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 5 Peeps *Use 6 chick peeps if not using the bunnies.
- 5 tbsp cornstarch
Heat 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl until it becomes liquid. This usually takes about 30 seconds in the microwave. Be careful not to touch the oil when still hot. Take 5 peeps of the same color and remove the chocolate eyes. If using the Peeps chicks, use 6 chicks (they are slightly smaller than the bunnies).
Place the peeps in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave them for 30 seconds to soften them.
Add 4 tablespoons of cornstarch to the melted coconut oil and softened peeps.
Mix everything together until it starts forming a ball. It will still be very sticky at this stage.
Add 1 additional tablespoon of cornstarch and continue mixing until it forms a dough-like consistency.
Sprinkle some cornstarch on your work surface to prevent sticking. Transfer the dough onto the surface and knead it until smooth. Once the dough is smooth and pliable, roll it out into the desired shape.
- Repeat these steps for each color of playdough you want to make.
- You may need to sprinkle more cornstarch to keep it from sticking to your hands when playing.
- If the dough gets hard after a day, place in the microwave for 10 seconds to soften it again.
