Make Your Own Lego Crayons
These Lego crayons are so much fun to play and color with! The larger size makes them perfect for little hands to color with. And they are less likely to break when coloring too.

You only need a silicone mold to make these. You can also use the mold to make ice chalk too!
Supplies Needed
- Pack of crayons or broken pieces you already have
- Bowl of Water
How to Make Your Own Lego CrayonsÂ
Note – Adults to do the baking process. Kids can help break up the crayons and find broken crayons around the house!
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Put water in a bowl and add the crayons inside.
Let the crayons soak in the water until the labels start to easily peel off.
3. Break the crayons into smaller pieces.
We sorted by color but you can also mix and match colors.
4. Fill the mold.
5. Heat for about 3-5Â minutes.
Watch to ensure the crayons have melted. It may take more or less time depending on your oven and the amount of crayons used.
6. Let the crayons cool.
Once done, remove the mold from your baking pan and let cool. You can also place on a flat surface in the freezer for around 20 minutes, or until your crayons are cool and solid.
7. Carefully remove the crayons from your molds.
Remove the crayons by stretching the sides of the molds and pressing up on the bottom of each crayon.
Now is the fun part, kids will love coloring with these new crayons!
How do you get all the wax remnants off the molds?
Hi Megan, if your mold is microwave safe you can pop it in until the crayon melts and then wipe clean. You can do this in the oven too.
